On season 2, our protagonist Cris discovers her sexuality and starts dating Joana, who we find out has borderline personality disorder (BPD): A barely represented mental condition that affects mostly adolescents, making it hard for them to control their impulses and emotions... as if adolescence wasn't hard enough already.

BRIEF
We wanted to raise awareness about BPD in a way that could seemlesly fit into the character's story, and we found the answer on a notebook.

INSIGHT
Patients who go through therapy often keep journals to express their feelings. And in the show, Joana does it by drawing.

IDEA
We turned Joana's notebook into an Instagram feed, each drawing representing one of the 9 symptoms of BPD. Fans could click on each post to go to a personalized profile where they could learn how each of the symptoms manifests and reach out to an organization (AMAITLP) for help.

Previous to all of this, I dusted off some music-producing skills, turned on my iPhone recorder and came up with two songs based on catchphrases from the show and peculiar words (as a boomer would said) used by our characters and fans. One of them ended up on the protagonist reveal teaser. We might not win a Grammy with this one, but hey! We did it for the fans.

(Guay - bye) (Guay - bye) Guay si mola, Bye si no mola. Amigas delante, Fuckboys a la cola. Guay si es BAE, Bye si no cae. Aquí ya sabemos quién se las trae. Bye si jode, Guay si no jode. Adiós waterparties que nos embajonen. Guay, la fiesta. Bye, ¿y esta? ¿Guay? Guay.
